Retro Revival 2024

We (South West Amiga Group) have been working with Retro Revival for many years and this time we are doing something different. I am soft-launching my own business GG Gadgets and Games Ltd. If you’re reading this then you are possibly wondering why the crazy name and what is it exactly?

So if you picked up a leaflet or business card, you might have seen a custom arcade machine then that is what I am about to do. I intend to build arcade machines and populate my shop with them, also my shop will be split into two to allow the public to play games and also browse for bargains.

So for the last few years I have had a ‘bricks and mortar’ shop which is not open to the public that is located in the heart of Barnstaple in North Devon and my aim is to try and offer something different and unique to this area, but on a small scale. Still confused?

So, you said Gadgets and Games? Well I am planning to sell Gadgets which could be a game console, pair of headphones, joysticks, game controllers or other unique items. I will be focusing on the games market and will be buying up game collections or finding things that you might want in your house.

Where are the Games? This will be something I will be keen on showing, but with a twist. I am planning to make the place hirable, so you can rent the place for a few hours with friends or family and play games to your heart’s content. There will be many consoles and arcade machines around the place to enjoy.
